Lived Experience:

• Former Professional Athlete/Coach - the Matildas. Over a 15 year professional career Heather played 130 games for the Matildas, in 3 FIFA Women’s World Cups and 2 Olympic Games and winning the Asian Football Confederation Cup. Heather received football's highest accolade in 2022 being inducted into Football Australia’s Hall of Fame. 
  
  
• Executive Business Leader and Women in leadership advocate/mentor. Heather sits on the Board of Football Australia, is a commentator for Optus Sport, been a coach and mentor to men and women in both sport and professional settings, and been CEO of Australian Taekwondo. 
  
  
• Ecommerce small business start up expert. Game Face Pro is a sunscreen brand that is booming. Heather’s energy has ensured that this start-up continues to grow at breathtaking speeds.

• Rescuing 8 Afghan athletes - in 2021 Heather contributed to the rescue of seven Olympic athletes fleeing the Taliban in Afghanistan and their safe arrival in Australia and through sport continues to support refugee families seeking asylum.
